Your smile lit up a room, your eyes were a dream

the world isnt round without you here, a part of me is missing

Losing you was the last thing i imagined would occur, without your hand to hold, this life is a blur

We had been through so much, been shot at too, just watching nascar on T.V. doesnt seem right without you

I miss your hugs and your stupid raps, your voice your laugh and your gangster crap

There was something special, about your smile, about your attitude, about your eyes when you would promise, there was something special about you

When you meet that special person, you just know, the one you love and admire, its hard to let them go.

The love of your life is hard to find, luckily i grew up with mine

Have you ever woken up in the morning, wondering if it was your last day? Have you ever left your house, unsure if you would return?

Have you ever seen a friend get shot, outside his favorite store? Have you ever seen a friend die from drugs they never took before?

Have you seen your mom beat up, by a stepdad messed up on booze? Have you ever had people, forcing you to choose?

Have you ever sat beneath the stairs hoping God will hear? Have you ever seen a friend drive away, after way too many beers?

Have you ever had a friend experiment with weed? Have you ever covered guilt with a good dead?

Have you ever considered suicide, as the only way? Have you tried to hide yourself behind the things you say?

Have you ever wanted to protect your friends and everyone in sight? Have you ever felt such pain, you cry to sleep at night?

Have you ever lived my life, spent a minute in my shoes? if not then why do you judge me as you do?!?!
